For drop-off and pick-up, all cars must enter campus via Poole Street and exit via Sixth Street. Please show courtesy and take turns as you are exiting your carline and merging into the lane to exit onto Sixth Street. For safety and efficiency, all cars must turn right onto Poole Street upon exiting campus during arrival and dismissal.
Drop-off
Between 7:30-7:55 am, all cars must enter one of two designated carlines: the Kindergarten Carline (follow signage) or the Front Carline for Grades 1st – 8th (follow signage for 1st–4th Grades). Scholars with siblings in Kindergarten may enter through the Kindergarten carline. The Middle School (Back) Carline will be closed off in the mornings. Please wait for a BA staff member to open your car door before your scholar(s) exit the vehicle.
For everyone’s safety, if you would like to park and escort your scholar into the building, please wait until 7:55, when BA staff members will close the carlines. At that time, all families should follow the signs for “Park & Escort,” then park and escort their scholars into the building to sign them in. Middle School Scholars can sign themselves in once dropped off and do not have to be escorted in. However, scholars in Kindergarten through 4th grade must be escorted into the building by an adult.
Pick-Up
For afternoon pick-up, you must have a CarRiderPro tag and it must be already hanging BEFORE you enter the Poole Street entrance, so that the panel can pick up your car tag number. If you have misplaced your car tag, please park and purchase one from the front office. Any vehicles that arrive without car tags displayed will be required to show ID. The staff member will then have to check with the front office to ensure that you are an approved pick up person. This process can take several minutes and slow down the carline, so we ask that you do all that you can to ensure that you have a car tag displayed at pick up daily. The times for arrival and pick up are displayed below.
One CarRiderPro tag is provided per family. Car Tags are distributed during Open House each year for new families, and additional car tags can be purchased for $5 each anytime.
Scholars not staying for the Extended Day Program, will dismiss in one of 3 places (see map below):

- Bus Loop – All kindergarten scholars and their siblings will dismiss here.

- Front Carline – All 1st – 4th grade scholars and their siblings will dismiss here. Take the Second Available Right Turn upon entry from Poole Street. Please note, any 1st – 4th graders with kindergarten siblings will dismiss in the Bus Loop.

- Back Carline – All scholars in 5th – 8th grade, who either do not have siblings at BA or only have siblings in 5th – 8th grades will dismiss here. Take the First available right turn upon entry from Poole Street. Please follow the signs for 5th – 12th Grades. Please note, any 5th – 8th graders with kindergarten siblings will dismiss in the Bus Loop.
Families that Park & Escort, must wait until the car line ends, at which time all remaining scholars are dismissed to the front lobby. This typically occurs around 3:50 pm on all days except early release Wednesdays, when it occurs around 2:40 pm. This allows us to dismiss all scholars safely and efficiently.

Remember, we only operate the front car line and bus loop car line during drop off in the morning and traffic flows in one direction only. All vehicles must enter the school on Poole Street and exit the school on 6th street. Please do not turn around and go against the flow of traffic during arrival and dismissal times.
